Rollover To Zoom
Chateau Greysac Rosé is a Bordeaux Médoc rosé made at the storied Greysac estate on the left bank of the Gironde. A saignée-style pink from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, dry and structured, the Bordeaux answer to Provence's paler style.
Mood: Bordeaux-dry, structured, food-friendly.
Sommelier's note
"A Bordeaux rosé with the estate's structure: strawberry, blood orange, and a light gravel minerality. Drinks like a serious white with the color of a rosé. Best with food."
Tasting notes
Pale salmon with aromas of red currant, strawberry, blood orange, and wet stone. The palate is dry and medium-bodied, with soft red berry fruit, a citrus lift, and a chalky mineral spine. The finish is clean, subtly gravelly, and refreshing.
Food pairing
Grilled salmon, herbed roast chicken, mezze plates, Provençal ratatouille, mild soft cheeses (dairy course), Shabbos day lunch, or the summer holiday table.
