Rollover To Zoom
Shiloh's Secret Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon in the mevushal 750ml is the flagship red made ready for a caterer's Shabbos: Judean Hills mountain fruit, 18 months in French oak, flash-pasteurized for mevushal service. Same Amichai Lourie cuvée, mevushal-friendly for any kiddush or simcha bar.
Mood: Bold, structured, kiddush-ready.
Sommelier's note
"A serious Judean Hills Cab in a mevushal format. Dark fruit, cedar, chocolate, mountain tannin. The bottle a caterer reaches for when the main course expects big red."
Tasting notes
Aromas of blackcurrant, plum, cedar, and a light tobacco lift. The palate is full-bodied, layered with black cherry, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and firm mountain tannin. The finish is long and structured, with lingering spice and mineral grip.
Food pairing
Prime rib, rack of lamb, dry-aged steak, cholent with brisket, aged hard cheeses. Built for a full Shabbos or yom tov table where the wine needs to be mevushal.
