Rollover To Zoom
Chaya Sweet White is a Piedmont white in the classic Italian sweet style — light, honeyed, mevushal, and priced to be the everyday shabbos dessert wine. Made with oenologist Paolo Pronzato in a region with a long Jewish story.
Mood: Honeyed, gentle, everyday.
Sommelier’s note
“A gentle sweet white with the Moscato lift and a soft frizzante finish — mevushal, so it pours at every table.”
Tasting notes
Honey, ripe pear, and a light orange blossom lift out of the glass. Off-dry to sweet — honeyed pear and stone fruit carry the middle, a soft citrus acidity keeping it clean. Gentle, light, and slightly sweet — the fruit lingers.
Pairing
Serve well-chilled. Perfect with challah, sponge cake, fruit salad, or as the wine that opens Shabbos dinner.
