Rollover To Zoom
Covenant's Israeli Syrah is sourced from the volcanic soils of Tel Faris in the Golan Heights and aged 18 months in French oak. Winemaker Jeff Morgan brings California craft to Israeli terroir.
Mood: Spiced, plush, brooding.
Native-yeast Syrah from one of Israel's finest vineyards — a Rhone-inspired red with real intensity and a serious sense of place.
Tasting Notes
Blueberry, black cherry and blackberry meet cracked pepper, anise and grilled herbs. Full-bodied with silky tannins, layered dark fruit and a spicy backbone from the Golan altitude. Long, warming and peppery, with cocoa and cedar echoing on the close.
Food Pairing
Pull this out for grilled lamb, pepper-crusted steak, short ribs and hearty Shabbos stews; also holds up to aged sheep-milk cheeses.
