Rollover To Zoom
Yatir's Mt. Amasa is the winery's approachable-yet-serious blend from the high-altitude Yatir Forest vineyards. Twelve months in French oak deliver polish without smothering the fruit.
Mood: Balanced, layered, versatile.
The everyday face of a serious winery — enough structure to stand up to a Shabbos roast, enough charm to open on a Tuesday.
Tasting Notes
Ripe raspberry, red plum and blueberry meet cracked pepper, tobacco leaf and a whiff of smoke. Medium- to full-bodied with bright acidity, integrated tannins and layered red and black fruit. Long and lightly spiced, closing with sweet oak and a peppery lift.
Food Pairing
Excellent with Shabbos brisket, grilled entrecote, lamb kebabs, mushroom risotto and aged hard cheeses.
