Rollover To Zoom
Yatir's single-varietal Petit Verdot from the high-altitude Yatir Forest vineyards in the southern Judean Hills. Rarely bottled on its own, this is one of Israel's most distinctive dry reds.
Mood: Floral, bold, aromatic.
A rare varietal treatment done right — violet-lifted, densely fruited, and structured to age. Yatir at the top of its game.
Tasting Notes
Violet, rosewater and forest berries lead, with cedar, graphite and warm baking spice behind. Full-bodied with firm, chalky tannins and layered blackberry and plum fruit lifted by cool-climate acidity. Long, savory and floral, with graphite and dark chocolate holding through the close.
Food Pairing
Made for Shabbos roast, braised lamb shanks, standing rib and duck with cherry sauce; also excellent with hard aged cheeses.
