Rollover To Zoom
A Sonoma Cabernet from the warm gravel benches of Alexander Valley, aged eighteen months in French and American oak. Mevushal, polished, and built for the long Shabbos lunch.
Mood: Dark fruit, sweet oak, easy gravitas.
Tasting notes
Blackberry, dark cherry, licorice, and a thread of cocoa-dusted oak. Medium-to-full bodied with rounded tannins, layered cassis, mocha, and a savory cedar mid-palate. Long with sweet vanilla and dark fruit lingering over fine-grained tannin.
Food pairing
Brisket, grilled lamb chops, roasted turkey, and rich pasta with wine-braised meat.
