Pinotage is South Africa's signature grape — a Cinsault × Pinot Noir cross bred in 1925 at Stellenbosch. Cape Jewel's Western Cape version is fruit-forward, lightly smoky, and certified mevushal for the Shabbos table.

Blackberry, dark plum, and ripe black cherry lead the nose with a hint of cured tobacco. The palate is round and fruit-driven with soft, sun-ripened tannins. A smoky, savory finish lingers without weight.
