Rollover To Zoom
Château Pontet-Canet's first kosher cuvée in over fifteen years — a single 2019 harvest from one of Pauillac's most respected Grand Cru Classé estates, fully biodynamic, supervised by Rabbi Akiva Padwa (London Beth Din) and Rabbi Mordechai Seckbach in France and bottled under OU. The allocation evaporated on release.
The kosher Bordeaux moment of the decade.
Tasting Notes
Blackcurrant, cedar, graphite, violets, tobacco leaf on the nose. Dense black fruit, espresso, dark chocolate and a mineral core on the palate. Long, structured finish with firm but polished tannins — classic Pauillac architecture from a biodynamic estate.
Food Pairing
Dry-aged rib roast, braised short ribs, lamb shoulder, aged hard cheeses. Decant 60–90 minutes for current drinking, or hold ten-plus years.
