Rollover To Zoom
The Glenlivet 21 Year Old is the distillery's tribute to time — a Speyside single malt aged at least twenty-one years and finished across a trio of casks (first-fill Oloroso sherry, Troncais oak cognac, and Colheita vintage port) to layer the orchard-fruit Glenlivet house style with deeper dried-fruit, spice, and confectionary notes.
Pour it neat in a Glencairn after a long day, or alongside dark chocolate and a quiet hour. This is sipping whisky, not mixing whisky.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Dried fruit, oloroso raisin, cinnamon, ginger, hints of leather and toffee.
- Palate: Oily walnut, fruitcake, brown sugar and spice, melted-oak warmth.
- Finish: Long, toasty, hickory and chocolate fudge, gentle sherry sweetness.
How to Drink It
Pour into a tulip or Glencairn glass and give it five minutes to open. A single drop of still water brightens the sherry notes; ice closes them down. Pair with dark chocolate, dried fruit, aged hard cheese, or a quiet conversation.
