Rollover To Zoom
Chateau Olivier is one of the historic Grand Cru Classe estates of Graves, with a moated 14th-century chateau and over 50 hectares under vine in Pessac-Leognan. The kosher Blanc is a serious white Bordeaux made in the same vat-by-vat program as the estate cuvee.
A classified-growth white Bordeaux done kosher - rare, age-worthy and built for the table.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow with green flecks. The nose opens with gooseberry, elderflower, lemon zest and a discreet thread of oak. On the palate: green apple, lime, white peach, a touch of honey and a long, dry, mineral finish. Medium body, medium-plus acidity, well balanced.
Food pairing
Roasted halibut, sole meuniere, lemon chicken, mushroom risotto, goat-cheese salad, or a Shabbat lunch with grilled fish and bright sides.
