A 100% Tempranillo Crianza from Bodegas Pinord, sourced from their Vilafranca del Penedès estate and bottled in Catalonia rather than the more familiar Rioja. Crianza-aged in oak, this is the dry, structured red the kiddush table reaches for when the brisket is on the carving board.

Tasting notes
Aromas of black cherry, dried plum, and a leathery oak edge from the Crianza barrel time. The palate is medium-bodied and savory, with cassis, baking spice, and a thread of dried herb. Finish is dry and grippy, with fine-grained tannin that lifts the food.
