Rollover To Zoom
Recanati Reserve Wild Carignan is produced from dry-farmed old vines on the slopes of the Judean Hills, where the roots must wind deep underground in constant search for water. The vines carry an ancient, almost wild appearance. Grapes are hand-picked, matured in French oak for roughly 12 months, then coarsely filtered and bottled with minimal intervention.
Mood: Wild, herbal, distinctive.
Tasting Notes
Rich aromas of dark berries, ripe cherries, and subtle herbal notes lift out of the glass, with hints of spice and earthy complexity underneath. The palate is full-bodied and layered with well-integrated tannins and a savory herbal edge. The finish is long and elegant, closing on stone and Mediterranean spice.
Food Pairing
Serve with meat and hearty dishes — Shabbos brisket, roast lamb, grilled steak, or a slow-cooked cholent. Also handles game and richly spiced Mediterranean fare.
