Rollover To Zoom
Teperberg Providence is the winery's flagship: a barrel-selection Cabernet blend drawn from the eight finest barrels chosen each vintage by the Teperberg winemaking team. Israel's oldest family winery (est. 1870) at its most serious.
Mood: Flagship, powerful, cellar-worthy.
Sommelier's note
"The Teperberg flagship, non-mevushal. Blackcurrant, cassis, cedar, and dark chocolate with real oak depth. The bottle for a serious Shabbos or a cellar-worthy gift."
Tasting notes
Deep opaque ruby with aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, cassis, cedar, tobacco, and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and dry, with layered black fruit, espresso, mocha, and firm structured tannin. The finish is very long, elegant, and spiced.
Food pairing
Prime rib, dry-aged steak, rack of lamb, wagyu brisket, aged hard cheeses. A serious cellar bottle for yom tov, a birthday, or an important Shabbos.
