Rollover To Zoom
Boscobruno is Vallepicciola's serious Pinot Nero, a step above their Pievasciata line. From single-vineyard Chianti hillside fruit, this is a delicate, elegant Tuscan Pinot Noir with dry taste, well-worked tannins, and a persistent finish.
Mood: bright garnet, floral, refined.
Vallepicciola's Pinot Noir laboratory in Tuscany. Boscobruno is the wine that proves an Italian hillside can do Pinot at Burgundian elegance, kosher and all.
Tasting Notes
Clear, bright garnet-red in the glass. The nose is delicate and subtle, dominated by fresh flowers and red fruits with a general hint of spice. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant, dry, well-worked tannins carrying red-berry fruit through a fine, persistent finish.
Food Pairing
A refined Shabbos and yom tov Pinot. Ideal with grilled salmon, seared duck, roast chicken with rosemary, or mushroom risotto. Also lovely with hard sheep's-milk cheeses and lightly seared tuna.
