Rollover To Zoom
Ethan's Reserve is the world's first kosher-for-Passover whiskey — a small-batch sorghum whiskey distilled at Nashville Craft Distillery and bottled at 94 proof. Because sorghum syrup comes from the plant's stalk and not the seed, the spirit sidesteps the chametz problem that keeps every other whiskey off the Pesach table.
A Nashville-born sipping whiskey that turns the eight days of Passover from a barren stretch into something to look forward to.
Sommelier's Note — This is the bottle that ended a centuries-old void. Light, honeyed, with surprising complexity for a young craft spirit — pour it neat and let the room notice. KFP under the OU, which is the seal that made the rabbinic phone lines light up when it first hit shelves.
Tasting Notes
Light amber in the glass. Aromatic and slightly floral up top, with vanilla cake batter, apple esters, and bright citrus. The palate is honeyed and faintly earthy, with a buttery mid-weight finish — not a heavy bourbon profile, more of a clean, contemplative sip.
Pairing
Neat, one rock, or built into a Manhattan or Old Fashioned where its honeyed brightness carries the cocktail. Pairs naturally with dark chocolate, dates, and the after-seder quiet.
