Rollover To Zoom
Psagot Dessert Wine is a late-harvest Chardonnay from the Judean Hills, hand-picked when the fruit has concentrated on the vine and bottled as a 500ml half-bottle. Honeyed, apricot-driven, under Badatz supervision.
Mood: Honeyed, decadent, patient.
Tasting notes
Dried apricot, orange peel, and honeyed pastry on the nose, with a whisper of ginger and beeswax. Rich and full-bodied on the palate — candied fruit up front, honeyed sweetness through the middle, held together by fine Chardonnay acidity. Long, layered finish with lingering apricot preserve, orange marmalade, and a whisper of oak.
Food pairing
Beautiful with blue cheese, fruit tart, apricot rugelach, foie gras, or on its own after a Yom Tov meal. Also lovely with dark chocolate.
