Rollover To Zoom
Psagot Homeland is the winery's Judean Hills red blend under the strictest Badatz Edah HaChareidis hechsher — a full-bodied Bordeaux-style wine grown on high-altitude limestone just north of Jerusalem.
Mood: Bold, patriotic, layered.
Tasting notes
Blackberry, cassis, and dark cherry on the nose, with cedar, sweet spice, and a whisper of Mediterranean scrub from the oak. Full-bodied and layered — ripe dark fruit up front, then Shiraz pepper, Petit Verdot violet, and Cabernet's cedar tannin through the mid-palate. Long, structured finish with grippy tannin and lingering blackberry and dark chocolate.
Food pairing
Built for grilled ribeye, slow-braised short rib, standing rib on Yom Tov, and aged hard cheeses. Give it 30-45 minutes to open in a decanter.
