Tasting notes
Sharp anise and fresh licorice lift straight out of the glass. Bright licorice sweetness up front, warm alcohol through the middle, a whisper of fennel and cardamom underneath. Clean and dry, with a long anise echo.
Pairing
Serve one-third arak, two-thirds ice water — the Levantine way. Perfect with hummus, labneh, grilled meats, or mezze on Shabbos afternoon.
