Rollover To Zoom
Tishbi's Estate Merlot comes off the family's own Zichron Yaakov vineyards, worked by the same Tishbi line since patriarch Michael Chamiletzki settled the land in 1882. It's the family's soft, plummy, weeknight face — traditional viticulture, gentle hand.
Mood: plush, plummy, easygoing.
The Merlot you pour when you want the room to relax. Ripe fruit, no rough edges, and just enough backbone to hold up to a proper Shabbos brisket.
Tasting Notes
Ripe plum, black cherry, and a whisper of mocha on the nose. The palate is soft and generous, with cassis, fig, and warm cedar spice. The finish is smooth and rounded, gentle tannins carrying a hint of vanilla oak.
Food Pairing
A natural for Friday night brisket, slow-cooked cholent, roast chicken, or grilled lamb chops. Also holds up well to hard cheeses and a plate of dried fruit and nuts.
