Rollover To Zoom
An Israeli Cabernet from Chateau de Galilee, the project of Yossi Ben Udis — widely credited as Israel's first professional sommelier. Aged in French oak for twelve months and bottled mevushal for the host who needs flexibility at the table.
Mood: Galilee, classic, table-ready.
Sommelier's note
Mevushal Cab that holds its shape — ripe fruit, oak structure, and the clean lift that the Galilee terroir keeps giving.
Tasting notes
Cassis, ripe plum, and a touch of cedar from twelve months in French barriques. Medium- to full-bodied, with layered black fruit, a savory herbal note, and gentle oak tannin. Smooth and warming, with sweet spice and a clean, gently grippy close.
Food pairing
Roast brisket, Friday-night chicken, kebabs off the mangal, and any cholent with serious meat.
