Rollover To Zoom
Cignozza Chianti DOCG is the entry red from La Cignozza, the Del Buono family estate south of Siena and one of the very few kosher Tuscan wineries. Bright, classic Sangiovese — sour cherry, fresh red plum, soft herb — with the food-friendly grip that built the Chianti category.
A weeknight Tuscan red that knows what to do at the table.
Tasting Notes
Sour cherry and red plum on the nose with light dried herb and a touch of leather. Medium-bodied with bright acidity and the classic Chianti tannic edge — savory rather than fruit-forward, easy to drink with food.
Food Pairing
Pasta with red sauce, pizza, antipasto, weeknight roast chicken, eggplant parmigiana, mushroom risotto. The everyday kosher Italian red.
