Rollover To Zoom
A rare kosher single-varietal Mourvedre from Chaim Sackton's boutique Gilad Winery. The Midba series gives this Mediterranean grape its proper home — twelve months in oak, savory and dusty, with the herbal lift of Israeli garrigue and the dark fruit of the high Judean slopes.

Black plum, dried herb, garrigue, leather, a touch of cured olive and sweet spice. Medium to full-bodied with dusty tannins, dark berry fruit, and a savory Mediterranean herb undercurrent; oak frames the fruit without dominating. Long and earthy with dark fruit, herb, and a gentle peppery lift.
Food Pairing
Lamb shank, slow-braised short rib, mushroom-forward dishes, Moroccan tagine, or any savory meat course where herbs lead.
Black plum, garrigue, sun-baked stone.
