Rollover To Zoom
A right-bank Bordeaux from the Rothschild estate stable — 70% Merlot leading, Cabernet Franc lifting the edges, twelve months in French oak. Soft, fragrant, and made for the long Friday-night dinner that runs late.
Mood: Red fruit, cedar, easy grace.
Tasting notes
Red cherry, dried violet, cedar shavings, hint of sweet tobacco. Light-to-medium body, ripe red fruit, smooth tannins, and a soft cedar thread through the middle. Medium length with a clean savory edge.
Food pairing
Roast chicken, mushroom kugel, grilled veal chops, and aged Manchego.
