Jeunesse is Herzog's semi-sweet line, and the label says so plainly — a young semi-sweet wine. It is Cabernet Sauvignon made soft and sweet on purpose, for people who find dry reds hard work.

Serve it cool, not room temperature. A slight chill keeps the sweetness from turning heavy.
Tasting notes
Blackcurrant and ripe plum, with a sweet jammy edge. Soft and semi-sweet across the palate with almost no tannin. A rounded, fruity finish.
Food pairing
Kiddush, brisket, cholent and sweet kugel. It handles sweet food better than a dry red would.
