Rollover To Zoom
Feudi del Pisciotto's Missoni Cabernet Sauvignon is a Sicilian Cabernet from Niscemi, dressed in a label drawn by the Missoni fashion house. 100% Cabernet, fermented in steel, then refined for 10 months in 50% new and 50% second-use French barriques and another 8 months in bottle before release.
Sicilian Cabernet, Italian couture.
From the Grandi Stilisti series that pairs Feudi del Pisciotto wines with iconic Italian designers — Missoni for the Cabernet, Versace for Nero d'Avola, Alberta Ferretti for Insolia. Sicily's volcanic warmth gives the Cabernet ripe depth; the barrique program gives it structure.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red. Intense fruit aromatics — cherry, ripe raspberry, elegant spice — over the lightly toasted edge of French oak. The palate is full-bodied and round with notable tannic depth and the elegance the variety asks for.
Food pairing
Dry-aged ribeye, braised short ribs, rosemary lamb, aged hard cheeses, or a slow-cooked Shabbos brisket.
