This Merlot from the Napa Valley in California has a ruby-garnet color deep in the middle and brighter at the rim. it was definitely oaked for at least 12 months. It has lots of dill and vanilla and the fruit is see-sawing between red and black such as raspberries and blackberries. in the mouth is woody and acidic with big and bold flavors. This wine is best served at room temperature.
