Rollover To Zoom
Feudi del Pisciotto's Missoni Cabernet Sauvignon is a Sicilian Cabernet from Niscemi, dressed in a label drawn by the Missoni fashion house. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon at the volcanic-soil southern edge of Italian wine.
Mood: Sicilian. Volcanic. Fashion-Forward.
Tasting notes
The nose lifts ripe blackberry, black cherry, and a soft note of dark chocolate over a warm sun-baked spice. The palate is full-bodied and layered, with black-fruit intensity, savory Mediterranean herb, and a whisper of cocoa carried on firm ripe tannins. The finish is long and warm, with cocoa, dried herb, and a lingering dark-fruit note.
Food pairing
A natural for slow-braised lamb, herb-crusted rack, grilled steak, and Sicilian-style Yom Tov roasts. Also holds up to bold aged cheeses.
