Rollover To Zoom
Kedem's Concord Kal is the light, low-alcohol version of the iconic American Concord grape wine that has anchored Shabbos and Yom Tov tables for generations. Made from New York State Concord grapes at Kedem's Hudson Valley winery, it delivers the familiar sweet Concord grape flavor at just 3.5% ABV — gentle enough for kiddush without slowing the meal down.
Mood: sweet, gentle, familiar.
Sommelier
“The magnum every Shabbos table knows by heart — lighter on the alcohol, same Concord grape comfort.”
Tasting Notes
Deep purple-red in the glass with a lifted aroma of Concord grape jelly, cherry, and ripe berry. The palate is unmistakably sweet, round, and juicy, with the classic grape-candy character Concord fans expect. The finish is soft and short, with none of the heat of a full-strength kiddush wine.
Food Pairing
The definitive kiddush wine — pours cleanly for the Friday-night bracha and the Shabbos morning kiddush, and carries through the Pesach seder’s four cups without overwhelming grandparents or kids. Serves alongside gefilte fish, chicken soup, brisket, and honey cake.
