Rollover To Zoom
Lavie Honey Liqueur is a controlled-fermented Israeli liqueur made from pure citrus-flower honey — closer in spirit to a proper mead than a modern honey syrup. It reads sweet up front, floral through the middle, and cleanly warming on the finish.
Mood: floral, honeyed, warming.
SOMMELIER SAYS
“Lavie Honey is what you bring out for Rosh Hashana and end up pouring the rest of the year — real honey, real fermentation, real warmth.”
Tasting Notes
Aromas of orange-blossom honey, beeswax, and dried citrus lift from the glass, with a whisper of chamomile and warm spice behind them. The palate is round and softly sweet — honeycomb, orange flower, and a touch of dried apricot — before a gentle finish that closes with warm honey and a whisper of citrus peel.
Serving & Pairing
Serve chilled, over ice, or warmed as a soft honey toddy with lemon and clove. Pours beautifully alongside honey cake at Rosh Hashana, cheesecake at Shavuos, or a tea tray after a heavy Shabbos meal.
