Rollover To Zoom
Or Haganuz Har Meron is a semi-sweet, port-styled red made at the base of Mount Meron in the Upper Galilee — a Bordeaux-Shiraz blend aged 10 months in outdoor oak. This is the Shabbos kiddush pour that still shows real structure.
Mood: Sweet, warm, kiddush-ready.
Tasting notes
Ripe blackberry, dried fig, and dark cherry on the nose, with sweet vanilla and warm baking spice from the oak. Full-bodied and semi-sweet on the palate — jammy dark fruit up front, port-like richness through the middle, oak-driven vanilla underneath. Long, warming finish with lingering dried fruit and a whisper of dark chocolate.
Food pairing
Perfect for Shabbos kiddush, cholent, sweet challah, and rich desserts. Also lovely with blue cheese or dark chocolate at the end of a meal.
