Rollover To Zoom
A polished Galilee Merlot from one of Israel's oldest active wineries, mevushal under OU for full-table flexibility.
Mood: Friday-night brisket, second-cup-of-wine warmth.
Tasting notes
Crushed black cherry and ripe plum lifted by a curl of cocoa powder and toasted brioche from the oak. Silky and luxurious through the middle, ripe redcurrant and forest-berry fruit framed by a firm tannic spine and an earthy undertow. Long, savory close with cedar, dark chocolate, and a final brush of cured-meat spice.
Food pairing
Slow-braised brisket, Friday-night roast chicken with za'atar potatoes, hard cheeses at kiddush.
