Rollover To Zoom
Saint-Emilion Grand Cru from Chateau Haut Brisson, an estate first acquired by the Kwok family in 1997. Right Bank Bordeaux at its most polished — kosher and built for the cellar.
Mood: Polished, structured, serious.
Sommelier’s note
“Grand Cru classification, kosher, Right Bank — a sentence that doesn't get written often.”
Tasting notes
Beautiful garnet color opens with black fruits, blackberry, blackcurrant, and a hint of pepper and smoke. Concentrated and structured with dark plum, cassis, and savory minerality through the mid-palate. Long, refined, and gently tannic with cedar and dark chocolate notes.
Pairing
Made for prime rib, slow-braised short ribs, or a Yom Tov standing roast.
