Our sommelier says
Deep purple, dense in the glass. The nose is classic Northern Rhone style filtered through Upper Galilee altitude - blackberry, plum, black pepper, smoked meat, a wisp of dried violet. The palate is full-bodied with fine tannin and the peppery warmth Shiraz delivers in serious form. French oak adds spice and roundness without burying the varietal signature. Long, peppery, savory finish. Decant thirty minutes; will hold five-plus years.
