Rollover To Zoom
An Anejo tequila from the Los Altos highlands, rested twelve months in American oak. Smoother and richer than the Reposado, with the workhorse price tag Espolon is known for.
Mood: Caramel, oak, easy.
Our sommelier says
The Anejo that's punching above its price every night of the week.
Tasting notes
Caramel, vanilla, baked apple, light oak. Medium-bodied with toffee, soft pepper, cooked agave, and a clean oak frame. Medium length and warming; finishes on vanilla and gentle spice.
Food pairing
Neat or on the rocks; in a quality Old Fashioned riff; alongside a steakhouse meal.
