Rollover To Zoom
A heavily-sherried Speyside single malt from the family-owned Grant distillery — direct-fired stills, exclusively Oloroso sherry cask maturation, seventeen years patient. Rich, dried-fruit-loaded, and unmistakably old-school.
Mood: Sherry, raisin, deep amber.
Tasting notes
Dried fig, raisin, dark toffee, polished oak, hint of orange peel. Full-bodied and oily with rich sherry sweetness, Christmas cake, dark chocolate, and a faint nuttiness. Long, warming, and spicy with lingering dried-fruit and oak.
Food pairing
Neat in a Glencairn after a heavy meal; with dark chocolate, dried fruits, or a quiet cigar.
