Rollover To Zoom
Born from a 200th-anniversary nod to Alfred Barnard's 1886 tasting note, the 8 Year is the youngest, brightest face of Lagavulin—bourbon-cask only, bottled at 48%, with all the Kildalton smoke and none of the dried-fruit weight.
Mood: Fireside on a cold night, but with the curtains open so you can still see the storm.
Tasting notes
Lemon oil, peat reek, sea salt, vanilla cream, a brush of pine resin. Bright smoke, green apple, white pepper, brine, ash, and gentle malt sweetness. Long, smoky, slightly herbal—charred lemon and a coastal dryness.
Food pairing
Smoked trout, sharp aged cheese, dark chocolate, or a quiet evening of conversation.
