Rollover To Zoom
The everyday kosher sparkling - dry, mevushal, and priced to pop without thinking twice.
Mood: Sheva brachos toasts, bar/bat mitzvah kiddush, brunch mimosas, the bottle you keep on hand.
Our sommelier says
Pale straw with a steady bead. The nose leans green apple and citrus with a touch of brioche - more crisp than complex, which is exactly the brief. The palate is dry, the bubbles are fine, and it finishes clean enough to chase a second glass. Mevushal means it pours through a full simcha line without anyone tracking the bottle. Note: this is a New York sparkling - not actual Champagne - and that's the point. It does the job of Champagne at a kosher simcha price.
Tasting notes
Green apple, lemon zest, light brioche. Dry, crisp, fine persistent bubbles, citrus core. Clean, dry, refreshing.
Food pairing
Toasts, smoked salmon, light hors d'oeuvres, citrus desserts, mimosas with orange juice.
