Rollover To Zoom
Hood River Distillers and Clear Creek Distillery, the two oldest distilleries in Oregon, team up to finish Kentucky bourbon with Oregon oak staves. The result is proofed with glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood for a uniquely Pacific Northwest spin on a Kentucky classic.
Mood: Crossover, Polished, Oregon-finished.
Sommelier’s note
“Kentucky bourbon that takes the long way home through Oregon.”
Tasting notes
Roasted apples, hazelnut, chocolate and candy cap mushroom. Smooth caramel and oak with hazelnut and gentle spice. Long, sweet cream and more hazelnut, neatly tying the nose together.
Pairing
Sip neat in a Glencairn, stir an autumn Old Fashioned, or pair with apple pie and aged cheddar.
