Rollover To Zoom
Chateau Lascombes is a Second Growth Bordeaux from Margaux, one of the most graceful appellations on the Left Bank. This kosher release is a rare cellar-worthy Grand Cru Classe that lets a kosher table finally serve a real classified Bordeaux.
Mood: Elegant. Aristocratic. Cellar-worthy.
Tasting notes
The nose lifts fresh black currant, ripe plum, violet, and a fine wisp of cedar oak. The palate is silky and layered, with dark-fruit weight, graphite, tobacco, and a savory herbal note carried on Margaux's classic fine-grained tannin. The finish is long and complex, with cocoa, cedar, and a subtle earthy grip that hints at real cellar potential.
Food pairing
Reserve it for the finest Shabbos meat courses, Yom Tov and simcha meals: dry-aged steak, rack of lamb, veal chops, or a Rosh Hashana brisket that deserves company. Cellar-worthy for 15+ years.
