Mony Via is a Bordeaux-style Israeli red blend from the Mony Vineyard in the Samson region — 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 10% Malbec, and 5% Petit Verdot. Red-purple in the glass, full-bodied, and layered with dark forest fruit.
Mood: Smoky, layered, savory.
Tasting Notes
Red/purple in color with aromas of dark forest fruit and smoky coffee, tobacco lifts underneath. The palate is full-bodied and rich in flavor, layered and complex. The finish is long, pleasurable, and elegant.
Food Pairing
Pairs with grilled steak, roast chicken, and Shabbos brisket. Also handles smoked fish, slow-braised meats, and a hearty kugel spread.
