Rollover To Zoom
Dalton's house red — a Galilee blend built for the table, not the cellar. Shiraz brings the pepper, Cabernet the spine, Merlot the round middle, and a splash of Petite Sirah pushes the color and the finish. Medium body, soft tannins, sweet dark fruit. Pour it cool, pour it often.
In the glass
Cherry and plum up front, a turn of black pepper through the middle, vanilla and clove on the finish. Low-tannin, easy-drinking — the kind of red that disappears at a Shabbos table without anyone calling it out.
From the table
Mevushal, which means it stays kosher after the waiter pours it — so this is a safe bet for catered events, restaurant dinners, or any table where the bottle is going to leave your hand. Pairs naturally with grilled chicken, burgers, pizza, brisket, a midweek pasta. Serve a touch below room temperature (60–65°F).
About the winery
Dalton has been making wine in Israel's Upper Galilee since 1995 — a family operation working out of the cool, high-elevation hills near the Lebanese border. Canaan is their everyday red, the bottle that built the brand.
