Rollover To Zoom
Le Crock is a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel of Saint-Estephe, owned by the Cuvelier family since 1903 and run alongside their Saint-Julien estate Chateau Leoville Poyferre. The kosher mevushal release under the OU brings classic Medoc structure to any Shabbos or Yom Tov table.
Mood: Stately Medoc, hospitable.
Tasting Notes
Cassis, blackberry, cedar, graphite, and tobacco leaf with a touch of violet. Full-bodied and structured, with dark fruit, sweet oak spice, leather, and the gravelly minerality of the appellation. Long, fine-grained tannins frame a savory finish that calls for the second glass.
Food Pairing
Made for entrecote, standing rib roast, slow-braised short ribs, or a Shabbos cholent. Decant one hour before serving.
