Rollover To Zoom
From the Herzog family's Paso Robles vineyards comes a bold, food-friendly Cabernet Sauvignon that punches above its price. The Lineage tier is Herzog's everyday-luxury line — built for weeknight dinners and Shabbos tables alike.
Mood: bold, dependable, the house Cab.
Our sommelier says
"This is the bottle I keep on hand for guests. Paso Robles ripeness, soft tannin, kosher mevushal so no one's nervous to pour it. Easy to like, hard to fault."
Tasting notes
Black cherry and boysenberry lead, with a curl of pipe tobacco and warm cedar behind. The palate is rich and rounded, with soft tannins that frame the dark fruit without ever drying it out. The finish lingers on cocoa and a faint touch of vanilla oak.
Food pairing
Grilled rib-eye, slow-braised brisket, lamb shoulder, anything off the cholent burner. A reliable partner for Shabbos lunch.
