Photo for reference. Vintage may differ from the bottle shipped.
The blue bottle is the best-known kosher wine in the world, and it earned it — a gently fizzing Moscato from Provincia di Pavia that is only five percent alcohol. Sweet, low and easy, it is the bottle that gets opened when nobody wants to think about wine.
Mood: Sweet, fizzy, famous.
Tasting notes
Peach, orange blossom and honeysuckle jump out of the glass. Sweet and light across the palate with a soft prickle of bubbles. A clean, grapey finish that does not linger heavily.
Food pairing
Fruit, cheesecake and anything at a Shabbos kiddush. It also works against spicy food, where the sweetness cools the heat.
