Photo for reference. Vintage may differ from the bottle shipped.
The dry one in the Bartenura range. Prosecco DOC is made from Glera in the Veneto, tank-fermented so the fruit stays bright, and this is bottled Brut rather than sweet.
Mood: Crisp, dry, bubbly.
Our sommelier says
The bottle to open before the meal rather than after it — dry enough to start on, cheap enough not to agonise over.
Tasting notes
Green apple, white pear and a little citrus. Dry and crisp across the palate with fine, persistent bubbles. A clean, brisk finish.
Food pairing
An aperitif on its own, or with smoked salmon, sushi and light appetisers. Good in a mimosa at a Sunday brunch.
