Teperberg has been making wine in Israel since 1870, which makes it the country's oldest family winery. The White Moscato is its sweet, low-alcohol white, in a heavy faceted bottle that looks better on the table than the price suggests.
Mood: Sweet, light, pretty.
Our sommelier says
Very cold, in a white wine glass. It is sweet enough that warmth turns it syrupy.
Tasting notes
Muscat grape, peach and orange blossom. Sweet and light across the palate with a clean grapey core. A soft, short, sweet finish.
Food pairing
Kiddush, fruit, cheesecake and light desserts. Also a good foil for spicy food.
