Triple sec is the orange liqueur that makes a margarita a margarita. Binyamina's is the kosher-for-Passover one, which is why it turns up in a lot of kitchens in April.
Mood: Orange, sweet, useful.
Our sommelier says
A bar staple rather than a sipping bottle. Keep it where the cocktails get made.
Tasting notes
Sweet and bitter orange peel. Sweet orange across the palate with a clean, slightly bitter edge. A short citrus finish.
Food pairing
Margaritas, cosmopolitans, sangria and anything that needs orange. Also good over fruit salad.
