Rollover To Zoom
Chateau Roubine Cru Classé Rosé is a Cru Classé Provence pink, one of only 18 estates in the appellation to hold the classification. Night-harvested for temperature control and gently pressed for pale color, this is Provençal rosé at its most serious, mevushal.
Mood: Cru Classé Provence, dry, prestige.
Sommelier's note
"A Cru Classé Provençal rosé in mevushal frame. Pale salmon, white peach, a whisper of garrigue. The bottle for a summer Shabbos where the rosé has to be top-shelf and mevushal both."
Tasting notes
Pale salmon with aromas of white peach, wild strawberry, pink grapefruit, and a hint of Provençal garrigue. The palate is dry and medium-bodied, with red berry fruit, citrus lift, and a mineral spine. The finish is clean, gently herbal, and refreshing.
Food pairing
Grilled salmon, herbed chicken, mezze plates, Provençal ratatouille, mild soft cheeses (dairy course), summer Shabbos day kiddush. A prestige rosé for a fancier table.
