Rollover To Zoom
3 Other Cats is Einat Winery's boutique Bordeaux-style red blend, 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Carignan, and 18% Marselan grown at 850 meters in the Samaria mountains and raised eighteen months in French oak. Mountain-grown fruit, a painter's label, a serious wine inside.
Mood: plush, spiced, painterly.
An unusual blend, Cabernet backbone with the wildness of Carignan and the modern spice of Marselan. Numbered bottle, hand-drawn cats, serious juice.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of black and red berries layered with cinnamon and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and tannic, currant jam, cherry, blackberry, and a whisper of black rowan. The finish is long and structured, cocoa and warm oak carrying through.
Food Pairing
A serious Shabbos steak wine. Aged ribeye, dry-aged Kobe-style cuts, slow-braised short ribs, grilled lamb, or a rich cholent for Shabbos lunch. Also excellent with sharp aged cheeses.
